I am Eric Ratcliffe, I have lived in Norfolk England for over 50 years. As a private pilot I have flown around most of Norfolk and at have had the privilege of taking off and landing at many of the old British and US Military Airfields used by the allies during the WW2. Personal interest in aviation and history has led me to take a deep interest in the whole area of East Anglia and the Air war and also the D Day landings in France, and other battle sites in Germany, Holland and Belgium .Starting as a volunteer guide for the 8th Airforce association, escorting the veterans on their return to their old bases, I then started to work part time for other tour companies as a accredited guide, and now plan and execute my own tours as well.
